I change the check color in the options. I close the app. When I open the app again, the default color returns. How do I fix this?

This issue could be occurring due to a software bug or a misconfiguration. To fix it, you can try checking for any updates for the "Just Write Checks" program, reinstalling the software, or contacting the program's support team for assistance.
Moved JWC from Win7 to 10 when I Archive for month not updating the prior file. Also had to search for Archive file in Win 10. What do I need to do so Archive file will update the prior file? I love this software. Please help
Is Just Write Checks designed for the visually impaired? If not, can a blind person use it?

No, the software is not recommended to be used by Visually Impaired because it doesn't have support for. I've checked the Help Guide, but there is nowhere mentioned about visual impairment support.
However, in user you have Narrator that can help you to navigate through software.
